Description:
The Benedicata Enrile Masterworks Series, In Nature’s Realm, begins with an exploration of the changing seasons, highlighting the beauty and unpredictability of nature. Vivaldi’s iconic The Four Seasons takes center stage, offering a vivid musical portrayal of each season’s unique characteristics, brought to life by the extraordinary violinist Aurelian Oprea. Complementing Vivaldi’s timeless work is Michael Abels’ More Seasons, which reimagines the traditional with a contemporary twist, drawing connections between nature and modern life. Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6 (“Pastoral”) rounds out the program, expressing the composer’s deep love for the countryside and the peacefulness of rural life. Plein air artist Robin Roberts will capture these musical landscapes through painting, visually reflecting the concert’s themes.
